With the Clone Wars show on air, gaming companies and toy manufacturers alike scrambled to pump out products and gain as much as they could from this sudden golden era of Star Wars.īut games like Clone Wars: Republic Heroes left much to be desired, and Lucasarts seemed to be building up to something much bigger. There had been various games centered around the Clone Wars tv show that had come out in recent years such as Star Wars the Clone Wars Republic Heroes (2009) Star Wars the Clone Wars Jedi Alliance (2008) and Star Wars the Clone Wars: Lightsaber Duels (2008).
Many groups within the Rebel Alliance, being low on up-to-date supplies, have been forced to use further-modified Firewasp Class Missile Frigates to go head-to-head with smaller Imperial warships using whatever tactics they can.On September 15th, 2010, a game came out called “Clone Wars Adventures.” It was an MMO (Massively Multiplayer Online) to be a companion to the TV show that was currently airing on Cartoon Network called “Star Wars the Clone Wars.” At the sound of a new star wars game, people’s ears perked up. The class is named after the Firewasps, a painful and annoying insect found on Cato Neimodia, that shoot barbs out of their abdomens. The cargo holds have been replaced with missile launch tubes facing forward and to the sides. The Firewasp Class Missile Frigate is a modified Harvester Beetle Class Bulk Freighter in use by the Trade Federation during the Clone Wars. This freighter type was named after the Harvester Beetles found on Cato Neimodia. During the build-up of the Separatist Movement, the TF began refitting two thirds of these vessels for combat use, naming them as the Firewasp Class Missile Frigate.
The Harvester Beetle Class Bulk Freighter is another of the many transport designs used by the Trade Federation prior to the Clone Wars. What Republic Intelligence has yet to learn, is that a number of these vessels have been retrofitted for use for Research and Development to help the Separatists win the war. The Crescent Moon Class Frigate was commissioned by the Intergalactic Banking Clan two years before the outbreak of the Clone Wars.
